In order to be a volunteer, you
must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean driving record.
All new volunteers are required to
complete a Basic Firefighter recruit academy. The academy is
attended by new volunteers from throughout the county and is held twice
a year, once in the spring and once in the fall.
All potential volunteers will
participate in an informal interview with the officers. This
interview is intended to expose new members to time commitment involved
with volunteering and offering an opportunity to ask questions.
